Andrea Pozza. La sua carriera trentennale lo ha portato ad esibirsi in Italia e all’estero con veri e propri “mostri sacri” del calibro di Harry “Sweet” Edison, Bobby Durham, Chet Baker, Al Grey, Scott Hamilton, George Coleman, Charlie Mariano, Lee Konitz, Sal Nistico, Massimo Urbani, Luciano Milanese e
molti altri ancora.
Tra i pianisti jazz che più lo hanno ispirato troviamo Teddy Wilson, Bud Powell, Bill Evans, Winton Kelly, McCoy Tyner, Paul Bley.
Ha fatto parte del Quintetto di Enrico Rava, insieme a Roberto Gatto, Rosario Bonaccorso e Gianluca Petrella, col quale ha inciso per la ECM “The Words And The Days”. Con la stessa formazione si è esibito in alcuni dei più importanti festival e concert hall in Inghilterra, Francia, Germania, Spagna, Portogallo, USA, Canada, Brasile, Argentina, Giappone. Ha anche avuto occasione di suonare con ospiti del calibro di Roswell Rudd e Pat Metheny.
È titolare della Cattedra di Pianoforte Jazz presso il Conservatorio di Musica “Niccolò Paganini” di Genova.
